Visitor Information

Frequently asked questions.

Alternatively call the clubs office for assistance.

How do I book a tee time as a visitor? +
All visitor bookings go through our online tee booking system. Click Book A Tee Time at the top of this page, or call the Club's Office on 01803 842751. Society bookings of 9 or more players are handled directly by the office.
Is there a dress code? +
Smart golf attire is required on the course. Collared shirts, tailored shorts or trousers, and proper golf shoes (soft spikes only). Jeans, t shirts and trainers are not permitted on the course. In doubt, give the Pro Shop a call before you travel. For more information please click here.
Can I hire a trolley or buggy? +
Yes. Trolleys are available (electric and pull) to hire from the Pro Shop. Visitor buggies are £34 per round and all are subject to availability, so we recommend booking in advance. For weather related buggy/trolly bans (typically winter), the Pro Shop will advise on the day.
Do you accept County Cards? +
Yes. Devon and visiting county cards are accepted, giving a discounted £55 rate Monday to Thursday after 11:00. Please present your card at the Pro Shop on arrival.
Are there practice facilities? +
We have a practice ground, a short game area, practice nets and putting green, all available to visitors before your round.
What food is available before or after my round? +
The clubhouse serves food daily 7 days a week, with locally sourced ingredients. Non members are welcome to eat and drink in the bar and restaurant. Society packages include catering options from bacon rolls through to a variety of meal choices.
Can I buy a gift voucher for someone? +
Yes. Gift vouchers for green fees, lessons or Pro Shop purchases are available from the Club's Office or Pro Shop. Call 01803 842751 to arrange.
What happens if the course is closed for weather? +
If the course is closed due to bad weather on the day of your visit, we will contact you to rebook or refund. During the winter green fee period we occasionally swap to temporary greens, GUR bunkers, and compulsory fairway mats.
Are dogs allowed on the course or clubouse? +
Dogs are not allowed on the course or inside the clubhouse but may use the outside seating area.
Where do I park and check in? +
Free parking is available on site. Once parked please register at the proshop.
