Pros Tip
A brutal opening hole, the 239-yard Par 3 for the men and par 4 for the ladies. Out of bounds down the left side with a tight opening into the long narrow green surrounded by 2 greenside bunkers, makes this hole one of the toughest opening holes in Devon.
The ideal tee shot is one that starts just inside the right-hand greenside bunker and works its way back to the centre of the green. There is plenty of room out to the right, but missing on the left side will leave you short sided with a tricky up and down.
Making a Par feels like a birdie and a shot gained on the field.
